Meg and Melba Toast
The wants and needs of babies can really ebb and flow. Here you can see Margaret totally focused on the melba toast that she has rejected steadily for months. Last night she and Max decided that it was the best thing ever and pounded through most of a sleeve.
I also like how curly the back of her hair is in this picture. She just got her hair cut over the weekend and I think that it now curls even more. Which is exactly what I was hoping for!

Margaret brushes Gretel
It was an absolutely beautiful day yesterday afternoon. Max and Margaret spent some quality time in the sandbox. Gretel wanted to come outside too, so I brought her out. And then I decided to make good use of the time by brushing Gretel. I brushed and brushed and brushed, and then Margaret got excited about the idea. So I let her take a turn. Margaret definitely enjoyed it. Gretel seems to have just put up with it. But it is nice to see Margaret trying to help out!

Meg on a chair
Yesterday Margaret decided to stand on a chair. She's got her toy phone in her hands. And a cheeky grin on her face! She got up, but did not know how to get down. But she was willing to say "Cheese!" for me before I helped her get down. Later in the afternoon she figured out how to get down from the chair by herself.
She's also been working on saying Margaret.

Meg is changing fast
Margaret did very well with Daddy while I was gone for a week. I was amazed at how much she changed in just that week. She's got 2 big teeth on the top and one tooth on the bottom. She's "talking" much more. She can say "Up!" in addition to Max, Cat, and Chuggington. She's much more of her own person now. She's giving Max a hard time and generally enjoying life. She points at Gretel and says "Cat. Woof" and then laughs.

Rar!!!
Yesterday Julian was playing with Max and Margaret by running around the car and yelling Rar! Margaret figured it out and chimed in with her own yells of Rar too! She's very quick to imitate her brothers!
