Meg's Fancy Alaskan Slippers

Dave Luer sent Margaret some fantastic slippers from Alaska. I finally got a few photos of her wearing them. I think she liked them. They are warm, soft, and fancy!

Margaret's skirt rode up a little yesterday when she was playing... :) And I totally love that her tights have little ballerina shoes woven into the fabric. My little princess!

My Little Ladybug Girl

Here Margaret shows off her ladybug dress and black and red striped tights...
And I guess it must have worn her out since she fell asleep on the way to NannyJo's house! She's also showing off the new scottie dog jacket Granny got for her when we visited Lynchburg.

Pinwheel Sweater

I saw this pattern and loved it. I had Mark pick out the yarn colors. The sweater is made as a circle, starting in the middle. The arms are placed so that the sweater can be worn with the arms near the top of the sweater, for a toddler, or with the arms near the bottom of the sweater for a smaller baby. The longer part of the sweater then becomes a shawl collar.

This is the pinwheel sweater in toddler mode -- very long.

This is Margaret, trying out a fashion model pose while wearing the sweater in toddler mode.

And this is the sweater in baby mode.
I finished the sweater, except for sewing in the ends, many months ago. But it took until a couple of weeks ago for me to actually take the time to sew in the ends and make the sweater wearable!

Happy Meg is Happy

Thanks to Granny and Grandpa for the dress. Thanks to Jen and Princess Sophia for the tights. And thanks to NannyJo for the picture!
